Circle of Partners

Circle of Partners is our effort to support our Day School by raising funds for our Scholarship Program.  90% of your gift goes to the Scholarship Fund and directly benefits a student in need enrolled in Ascension School. 10% of your gift goes to the Scholarship Endowment and will provide scholarship funds in perpetuity.

GAP'R:  THE GREAT ALLEGHENY PASSAGE RIDE.

On July 15, 2010, Pastor Hedt will launch from suburban Pittsburgh, Pa., and ride his bicycle down the Great Allegheny Passage towards Cumberland, Md., a total distance of 129 miles.

He is doing this to raise funds for our Scholarship Program.   Our Day School has served the children of our community since 1952.  This year we gave over $200,000 in scholarships.  Our congregation can not do this without outside help.

Pastor Hedt is seeking "per mile" sponsors for his bike ride.  And the first 29 miles are "free"!  In other words, if you pledge $1 per mile and he rides the entire 129 miles (up and over the Eastern Continental Divide), your donation would be $100.
