Ascension members warmly welcome Esther Johnson to the United States.  Esther arrived from Monrovia, Liberia, August 17, and will attend Concordia Lutheran University in Seward Nebraska this fall.  Esther shared with Ascension members the challenges and blessings of living in Liberia and expressed appreciation to Ascension for assisting her with airfare, books, clothing and personal items for school.  Her career plans include becoming a Lutheran School teacher and returning to Liberia to teach.
