Accension Lutheran Church is a congregation that seeks to raise Caring Servants to extend life in Christ to diverse people.
As a congregation committed to diversity, we welcome and encourage all people to come worship with us. Our worship services incorporate a wide variety of musical styles while retaining the historic form of the Lutheran liturgy.
We worship on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. from the Sunday after Labor Day until the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend. On those Sundays Bible classes for all age groups meet at 9:15 a.m.
On Sundays from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend we have on worship service at 9:30 am.

We believe that in the bread and wine of Holy Communion Jesus offers us his true body and blood for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our faith. We invite those who have been baptized, who believe this and seek God's forgiveness to share this holy meal with us. Children may come forward to receive a blessing.
Lutherans believe that in Baptism a loving Heavenly Father reaches through water and for the sake of Christ washes us clean and claims us as His child. Baptisms can be arranged by speaking with the Pastor.
Weddings for active Ascension members are arranged with the Pastor. Please contact him at least four months before setting a date
